Local offsetting · PROMACC
Travellers everywhere are starting to shop for local offsetting — climate action they can actually visit, not a certificate from the other side of the world. Catalonia is where IMPT makes that real: the region's official Climate Credits are generated through PROMACC, the Generalitat de Catalunya's locally-driven forestry initiative making Catalan landscapes more resilient to climate change.
Every PROMACC project is assessed across three core processes — carbon, water and biodiversity — with a social impact metric in development. These credits carried a €4,000 price tag that reserved them for corporations; IMPT is set to become the first approved intermediary under the region's new framework, dividing each credit into smaller units so any traveller can own a piece of Catalonia's recovery.

"Every traveller should leave Catalonia greener than they found it."
Catalonia isn't a pin on IMPT's map — it has an owner. Jordi Vidal leads IMPT across Catalonia, and he is the reason this page can promise what it promises: the negotiator who worked side by side with the Generalitat de Catalunya to make IMPT the first approved intermediary of the region's Climate Credit system, opening PROMACC's €4,000 credits to everyday travellers for the first time.
Local, connected and relentless about doing things properly, Jordi is the guarantee behind every stay on this site — that your booking's impact lands where you actually travelled: in Catalan forests, rivers and villages.
